Property Styling: what can you do yourself?

Make your home ready for sale, you can partially self. After all, you know best what are the positive points of your home. You have
just got to take time to make a salable house or apartment and you have the courage to take rigorous decisions to sell your house quickly.

Prepare your home for the visit of the photographer. Those preparations include:

tidy

Clean up your house thoroughly, even garage and basement.Clean the countertop as empty as possible and turn loose bins out of sight. Mountain in the bathroom / toilet all personal belongings (toothbrushes, shampoo, spare toilet roll). Close the lid of the toilet. Put only clean towels in the appropriate color set for a color accent.

Set your furniture so on, that the advantages of your home are visible. Pros can an authentic fireplace, a nice view, or for example, a beautiful floor.

Tip: All you attend do not need and want to move it, get your fix in moving boxes. Everything you want to put away, but still in good condition, you can give to the circle shop. Other stuff you throw away.
Clean

Mop hard floors and remove door frames, doors and (kitchen) cabinets off. And do not forget the windows. Dirty windows are visible on photos!

neutral decor

Provide a neutral decor. How do you do that? For example by painting brightly colored walls and white to minimize the number of striking furniture or artwork. Choose one or at most two accent colors for each room. In an apartment one color scheme for the entire house. A quiet interior appeals to a wider audience. Make all beds with a neutral (white) bedspread or duvet quietly in the color of the room.

Remove family photos and children's drawings. does not cause the buyer with your life, but imagine being able to present themselves and their furniture in your home.

Make chores off

Fix that broken door handle or loose baseboard. If your buyer does not give the impression that maybe has not happened important maintenance.

Lights on

Switch for taking pictures all the lights on. If necessary, replace broken light bulbs and lamps to add any (spots or table and floor lamps) to illuminate a dark corner.
